Sig Guy Recoil Spring Installation Tool - P365XL / XMACRO

 WHILE USING THIS PRODUCT EYE PROTECTION IS MANDATORY 

 THIS TOOL WILL ONLY WORK WITH SIG GUY AND ISMI XL GUIDERODS THAT UTILIZE THE BOLT & WASHER CAPTIVE DESIGN. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER RECOIL REDUCTION KITS LIKE DPM, ARMORY CRAFT, SPRINGER PRECISION ECT. 

With this tool you can now EASILY install even those heavy weight p365XL and XMACRO 1911 style recoil springs! Check out how HERE! 

Step 1: Insert recoil spring into inner body (only fits in one end).

Step 2: Insert guiderod into recoil spring end.

Step 3: Align tabs and insert inner body assembly fully into outer body and turn inner assembly 1/4 turn.

Step 4: Ensure inner assembly and outer body are locked in place by twisting inner body inside outer body clockwise and counter clockwise (see video for better explanation).

Step 5: While insuring to NEVER point inner body assembly end towards you install captive washer.

Step 6: Install captive bolt (use of Loctite blue 242 on threads is recommended). Snug captive bolt.

Step 7: Press inner body into outer body and rotate 1/4 turn to remove inner body from outer body.

Step 8: Remove captured guiderod assembly from inner body.
