Takedown lever assist is for that extra leverage needed to rotate those stubborn takedown levers. Sometimes when adding a different/aftermarket guiderod or a heavier recoil spring the takedown lever requires a little bit more force to rotate. Tome takedown levers are also not very big and provide very little surface area to apply rotational force to. The takedown lever assist tool fits perfectly to your specific takedowen lever and by using the included handle rotating those difficult to turn takedown levers are a breeze.
 
A normal functioning takedown lever requires less than 1 inch pound to rotate. The breaking point of the takedown lever assist tools varies from 30 inch pounds up to 63 inch pounds depending on which model you use. If this tool breaks because your takedown lever requires more force then there is something wrong with your firearm. If this tool breaks it’s not a defect in the tool itself as there is something not correct in your firearm. There is no warranty for this product as it is considered a consumable.
