Sig Guy Recoil Spring Installation Tool - P365 3.1
 
 WHILE USING THIS PRODUCT EYE PROTECTION IS MANDATORY 
 
 THIS TOOL WILL ONLY WORK WITH SIG GUY AND ISMI 365 3.1" GUIDERODS THAT UTILIZE THE BOLT & WASHER CAPTIVE DESIGN. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER RECOIL REDUCTION KITS LIKE DPM, ARMORY CRAFT, SPRINGER PRECISION ECT. 
 
With this tool you can now EASILY install even those heavy weight p365 1911 style recoil springs! 
 
Step 1: Insert 1911 guide rod into recoil spring.
Step 2: Insert guiderod and spring assembly into lower body.
Step 3: Align tabs of inner body with slots of outer body and insert inner body fully into outer body.
Step 4: Ensure inner body and outer body are locked in place by twisting inner body clockwise inside outer body engaging both triangle locking mechanisms.
Step 5: Remove upper handle/cap exposing guiderod threaded hole.
Step 6: Install washer and captive bolt (use of Loctite blue 242 recommended on bolt threads). Snug captive bolt.
Step 7: Reinstall upper handle/cap. 
Step 8: Press inner body assembly in and twist counterclockwise to unlock both triangle locking mechanisms.
Step 9: Remove inner body from outer body.
Step 10: Remove recoil assembly from inner body. 
Step 11: Tada!
