This half moon punch is the proper tool to remove the P226/P229 E2 ectractor roll pin and the firing pin roll pin that you can only see half of the roll pin. Don't destroy the roll pin and damage the slide by using a smaller incorrect sized punch. Using this custom punch will easily remove those hard to get to extractor and firing pin roll pins. 
 
Although these punches are hardened use only enough force with a small armorers hammer to get the roll pin moving. Remember this is a long half punch and too much force could cause it to still bend. Use common sense.
