Recoil Spring Installation Tool - P365XL / XMACRO
 
THIS TOOL WILL ONLY WORK WITH SIG GUY AND ISMI XL GUIDERODS. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER RECOIL REDUCTION KITS LIKE DPM, ARMORY CRAFT, SPRINGER PRECISION ECT. THIS IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH OUR GUIDERODS THAT HAVE THE BOLT AND WASHER CAPTIVE DESIGN. 
 
With this tool you can now EASILY install even those heavy weight p365XL and XMACRO 1911 style recoil springs! Check out how HERE! 
 
Step1: Insert Sig Guy recoil spring into inner jig body (only fits in one end).
Step2: Insert Sig Guy guiderod into recoil spring end.
Step3: Align tabs and insert inner jig assembly fully into outer jig body and turn inner assembly 1/4 turn.
Step4: Ensure inner assembly and outer body are locked in place by twisting inner jig assemble inside outer body clockwise and counter clockwise (see video for better explanation).
Step5: making sure to never point inner jig assembly end towards you install captive washer.
Step6: Install captive bolt (Loctite blue 242 recommended). Snug captive bolt.
Step 7: Press inner assembly into outer assembly and rotate 1/4 turn to remove inner jig assembly from outer assembly.
Step8: Remove captured guiderod assembly from inner jig.
