- This is a 'drop-in' barrel. Fitting is not required.
- Matches or exceeds the fit of SIG factory X5 barrels
- This is a thicker (16mm) bull barrel which comes only with X5 pistols, that is necked-down to 14mm once it leaves the slide. This 14mm is the same thickness as 'regular P320 threaded barrels'. This will ensure compatibility with any silencers, Armory Craft compensators and the vast majority of other P320 compensators currently on the market.
The Sig Sauer P320 X5 / X5 Legion was primarily designed as a competition pistol that features a heavier bull barrel, as well as a longer and heavier slide. Therefore, this barrel was designed predominantly for use with a compensator.
P320 X5 which comes with a heavy Bull Barrel, was designed for competition use.
- CNC machined out of a solid billet of 416R Stainless Steel. 416R is a hardened chromium stainless steel particularly suited for use in high quality precision barrels. This grade has good machinability and, because of closely controlled chemistry and processing techniques, may be machined and lapped to a high finish, which is important for bore accuracy.
