Armory Craft P226 - Plus 2 - STEEL Base Pad - BLACK - SIG & MEC GAR
PLEASE MEASURE YOUR CURRENT BASEPADS SO YOU DO NOT ORDER THE INCORRECT ONES. PLEASE SEE LAST 3 PICS IN THE PHOTO GALLERY.
NEW: We are now pleased to offer these base pads in STEEL, which are 3 times the weight of the aluminum ones (48g vs. 16g). This additional weight helps to balance the pistol and also helps with faster magazine drops due to the increased weight.
- For ALL P226 models: Elite, DA/SA, SAO, Legion, Tacops, LDC, X5, X6 etc.
- The "Mecgar ONLY" base pads will also fit the new American version of the P226 X5.
- Increases capacity by TWO more rounds in 15, 17 and 18 rd magazines, resulting in 17, 19 and 20 rounds, respectively.
- In 20rd ProMag and 20rd Mec-Gar magazines, no additional rounds will be added. However, the cheap plastic Plus-2 base pads that these magazines feature will be replaced with our high-quality aluminum (or steel) base pads that are CNC-machined from solid billet.
- Will work with factory SIG, MecGar and ProMag magazines:
SIG Factory 15 rd 9mm magazines
MecGar 17rd 9mm magazines
ProMag 18/20rd 9mm magazines used on P226 Tacops
MecGar 18/20rd 9mm magazines
- Will not work with dedicated 10 round restricted magazines.
- However, will work with 10 round magazines that are 'restricted to 10 rounds' that originally started as 15, 17 or 18rd magazines.
- Will work with Hogue 'Magrips' and SIG factory magwell.
- Will also work & look perfectly without a magwell.
- These high-quality base pads are made out of billet aluminum or billet steel and assure a perfect fit without the large gap that some versions of factory or other aftermarket companies' base pads give.
- The front shape of these basepads blend nicely with the contour of the front strap of P226 pistol.
- Each base pad comes with M2 x 6mm set screw.
- 0.9mm wrench provided with 'each order'.
- Please note that the magazine retention plates are not to be used with these base pads (please see the last picture in the above picture gallery)
- CNC-machined from billet aluminum or billet steel
- Made in USA
IMPORTANT:
- will also work on 'internally' restricted capacity magazines (CA, MA, NY etc) as long as they have 'regular metal rails' at the bottom. However, they will NOT work on restricted capacity magazines if they have the 'large plastic plug' at the bottom of the magazine. (Please see the second to last image in the Image Gallery above).
